Duane W. Albro, President and Chief Executive Officer

Duane Albro is currently President and CEO of WVT Communications Group and a member of the company’s board of directors since 2008. He joined WVT Communications in May 2007 as the President and CEO. Prior to that, he was President and CEO of Refinish LP, a privately held company in the cellular phone refurbishing business. He has extensive experience at all levels in the telecommunications and cable TV industry including having served in senior executive positions as Operations Vice President at Cablevision, a metro-NY cable operator; President and COO of Net2000 Communications, a northeast US-based telecommunications service provider; Operations Vice President at Bell Atlantic-New York, a predecessor company to Verizon; and Group Vice President at Nynex-New York, also a predecessor company to Verizon. He has also provided strategic consulting services to private equity investors.

Duane has been active in supporting the positive impact of telecommunications used in education, having served on a White House National Advisory Council on Technology in Education and provided testimony to the U. S. Congress on the benefits of technology used in education. He has also served on the Boards of New York Medical College, New York Institute of Technology, Empire State College and Purchase College. Duane has demonstrated his commitment to workforce issues as the founder, Chairman and President of the Long Island Works Coalition, a major non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the available workforce for technology industries. He has also demonstrated support for communities with personal philanthropic grants that provide funds for the use of technology to improve human services, education and business development. Currently, Duane serves on the boards of the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor, the Warwick Development Coalition, the Orange County Chamber of Commerce and the Orange County Partnership. He is also a Director of Lakeland Industries, Inc, a NASDAQ-traded company that manufactures and sells safety garments and accessories for the industrial protective clothing market primarily in North America, China, India, Russia and Brazil.

Duane is a member of American Mensa Society and holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo and an MBA from New York Institute of Technology. David Cuthbert, Chief Operating Officer

President, Alteva & USA Datanet

David Cuthbert was appointed Chief Operating Officer at WVT Communications Group in August 2011 and elected to the company’s Board of Directors in December 2011. He was also appointed President – USA Datanet in August 2011 and continues to hold the title of President – Alteva from his prior company. In his current position, he has responsibility for all daily operations of WVT Communications Group and its subsidiaries, Alteva and USA Datanet. Mr. Cuthbert has 14 years of broad operational management and leadership experience. He joined Alteva in 2006 as the Director of Operations and in August 2010 rose to the position of President and CEO. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and a former Naval Special Operations Officer. In this capacity, he led underwater and land bomb disposal teams domestically and abroad. In 2003, Mr. Cuthbert was assigned leadership responsibility for the Navy's leading nuclear weapon casualty response detachment. His process innovation and mission accomplishment record earned him several high level unit and individual awards for leadership. Mr. Cuthbert is active in groups advocating cloud-based unified communications solutions and is a founding member of “The Captains”, a Naval Academy networking group focused on professional development, peer mentorship, and social responsibility. Ralph Martucci, Chief Financial Officer

Ralph Martucci joined WVT in October of 2010 as the Company’s Director-Finance and in May 2011 was appointed Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Prior to joining WVT Ralph served as Vice President of Finance and Operations for Liberty Environmental Management, a privately-held company in the residential and commercial property management business and as Director of Corporate Business Operations for Ottaway Newspapers, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of News Corp. (formerly Dow Jones and Company), the owner and operator of community media franchises across North America and as Director of Finance and Administration for Hudson Valley Media Group, a division of Ottaway Newspapers, Inc. Ralph has 17 years of telecommunications experience at Frontier Communications in the positions of Business Development Director, Regional Controller and Assistant Treasurer, and Financial Planning Director. While at Frontier Communications, Ralph served on the Accounting Practices Committee of the New York State Telephone Association.

Ralph holds the position of Executive Officer and Treasurer on the Board of Directors of the Orange County Chamber of Commerce, Inc. and serves as a member of its Audit Committee. He is on the Board of Directors and serves on the Finance Committee of Occupations, Inc., a not-for-profit human services agency in Orange County, N.Y. and the Board of Directors and past Chairman of the SUNY Orange Foundation. Additionally, Ralph is Director Emeritus and past Chairman of the Orange County Partnership and a past member of the Board of Directors of The Orange County Capital Development Corporation and The Times Herald-Record’s People for People Fund, a not-for-profit organization that is a means of people helping people in their own communities in Orange, Ulster and Sullivan Counties in N.Y. as well as a portion of Pike County, Pa.

Ralph holds a B.A. in Business Economics from the State University of New York at Oneonta and an MBA in Accounting from Farleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck, New Jersey.

John S. Mercer, Chief Technology Officer

John (Jay) Mercer was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer in August 2011. In his current position he is responsible for strategic technology platform selection and all management information systems development and operations. He joined WVT in April of 2009 as our Senior Vice President of Network Operations where he was responsible for all aspects of the internal and external networks in both our Warwick and Syracuse locations as well as the day-to-day field operations in Syracuse. Jay has also held similar positions with USA Datanet, Global Crossing, and RG Data prior to joining WVT. Jay served in the United States Air Force and received extensive training in switching and equipment for the following: Sonus, Rolm, NEC, Northern, Lucent 5e/4e, NCI, Broadsoft, Cisco, Adtran, Wellfleet, Bay packets (northern data products), and Cabletron. Louis Hayner, Chief Sales Officer

Louis Hayner has over 10 years of management and entrepreneurial sales experience in telecom services.

After Alteva was acquired by WVT Communications Group (NASDAQ: WWVY) in August 2011, Louis was appointed Chief Sales Officer of the company and is responsible for all sales and marketing for WVTC and its subsidiaries, Alteva and USA Datanet.

Prior to joining WVTCG, Louis was Chief Sales Officer at Alteva where he managed the entire sales and marketing team. Louis played a critical part in the company’s growth by spearheading the launch of Alteva’s Wholesale and Channel Partner programs, while helping grow the company’s revenue by 62% within the first year. One of his biggest accomplishments at Alteva was securing a deal that increased the company’s business by approximately 650%. Louis served as Sales Manager at ATX before joining Alteva as the Director of Sales in 2005. 

Louis is considered by many to be an industry expert, having been quoted in the press and published numerous times. He is also a recognized presenter at leading tradeshows and conferences, having recently presented at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2011 on partner best practices for winning against the competition, and at the Parallels Summit 2011 on implementing hosted solutions with Parallels Automation.

Louis is one of the founding members of the Association of Contingency Planners (ACP), the nation’s first organization to specialize in telecommunication continuity planning and restoration, and was elected to serve as the Director of Education in 2006. Mark Marquez, Chief Network Officer

Mark Marquez has over fifteen years of senior project management and enterprise level architecture design in telecommunications and network infrastructure services. Since 1996, he has designed, managed, and implemented complex network and telecommunications infrastructures for small, medium, and enterprise companies including Exelon (PECO Energy), General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC)/Berkadia Commercial Mortgage, DIAL Corp., BBraun Pharmaceuticals and MAXIMUS Corporation. 

After Alteva was acquired by WVT Communications Group (NASDAQ: WWVY) in August 2011, Mark was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Network Officer of the company, as well as its wholly owned subsidiaries, USA Datanet and Alteva. In this position, he is responsible for all network development, including internal and external networks, customer technology selection and implementation, and network technology operations and management. 

Prior to joining WVTCG, Mark was Chief Technology Officer at Alteva where he was responsible for the internal and external platforms and technology operations. With his leadership and depth of knowledge, he designed and built a highly efficient and redundant technology infrastructure for the company.
